PREPARATION OF INTERNAL AUDIT MANUAL BASED ON IIA STANDARDS
Presenting the newly drafted Internal Audit Manual to Audit Committee Chairman during the meeting held on 04th May 2021. It is first time in the history of the company to adopt Internal Audit Standards of Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) at CPSTL and the Audit Committee expressed its keen interest to see the compliance with the manual in future in all internal audit actvities.
Applying international standards would give rise to improves the integrity, objectivity and competency of our internal auditors under attribute standrds and also performace stnadrds would lead to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit actvities, said Mr. Rathnaseela ( Chairman Audit Committes) during the presentation.
