The Chairman of Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd, Mr. Mohamed
Uvais Mohamed and his team members embarked on another development of
projects to strengthen the nation’s fuel supply services efficiently and
effectively.
In this endeavor, steps have been taken to expand and develop the
constructions of the CPSTL Bulk Depot in (KKS) Kankasanthurai. As a
result of efficiency measures taken, under the present Chairman’s wings,
a six acre land was obtained on a lease agreement.
The agreement was signed between Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminals Ltd
and the Land Commissioner General’s Department on Wednesday, 14 December
2022.
Despite the challenging environment, CPSTL saw one of the biggest
infrastructure development drives aimed primarily at supplying oil
without interruption and ensuring energy security of the Northern
Province.
The Chairman CPSTL- Mr. Mohamed Uvais Mohamed, Managing Director, CPSTL-
Mr. Susantha Silva, and Mrs. Thamali Amarasinghe- the Assistant Land
Commissioner were present at the occasion.
